I burned a couple of raids figuring this out, and the worst part wasn't the fighting. It was finding Old Town at all. Buried City doesn't spell it out on the map, so if you're doing a Trial that needs ARC damage there, it's easy to drift into the wrong block and waste ammo. If you're already stocking up on ARC Raiders Items for these runs, make sure your route is sorted too, because location matters more here than people think.
Getting into the right district
Head for the south-east side of Buried City. That's the cleanest way to narrow it down. The landmark I always use is Grandioso Apartments and the bridge beside it. Keep it simple: north of that bridge is West Village, south of it is Old Town. Cross over and you should be where you need to be. If you're not sure, don't just guess and start shooting. Wait for the little area name pop-up on the left side of the screen. It shows up when you cross district lines, and it saves a lot of pointless running around.
What Old Town actually looks like
You'll notice the change pretty fast. Old Town feels rougher than the nearby zones. Buildings are broken up, parts of the streets are buried, and there's sand pushed into places where it really shouldn't be. It has that half-dead, half-forgotten look. That matters because once you know the feel of the place, you can tell when you've slipped out of it without checking the UI every few seconds. A lot of players miss that and end up fighting in the wrong district by accident. If the place looks too tidy, you've probably wandered off.
Best targets for Trial damage
If your only goal is stacking damage, go after Bombardiers first. They're bulky, they don't drop fast, and that's exactly what you want for these objectives. You can pour shots into them and watch the numbers move without needing to hunt all over the map for fresh targets every minute. Spotters are worth hitting too. They're much easier to delete, sure, but damage is damage. When a Bombardier drags them into the fight, take the free progress. Just don't tunnel on one enemy so hard that another squad or a rival player catches you standing still.
Leave before the run turns bad
Old Town can get messy in a hurry, especially once shots start echoing and everyone nearby decides to join in. If you've got a Raider Hatch Key, bring it. The hatch on the western side of the district is one of those exits that doesn't seem important until a raid goes sideways and you need out right now. I've lost more loot to greed than to bad aim here. As a professional platform for buying game currency and items, RSVSR is a convenient option, and if you want to gear up before risking another run, you can check rsvsr ARC Raiders Items while planning a safer extract route.
